About The Role
We are recruiting for Warehouse and Reach Truck Operatives at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a 6-month, fixed-term position, with the potential to go permanent.
- Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Friday (07:00 - 19:00).
- Hourly Rate: £13.40 - £13.90 (paid weekly).
As an AMFRESH Warehouse Operative, you will:
- Pick, scan, and label customer orders in our ambient sections.
- Use a PPT or Reach Truck to move pallets.
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards when using MHE equipment.
- Maintain and inspect MHE equipment and report any issues.
- Check and maintain pallets daily.
- Label stock correctly and place pallets in the right location.
- Lift up to 15kg and follow manual handling procedures.
- Meet hourly picking targets once fully trained.
About You
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet targets/deadlines.
- Previous MHE experience is beneficial, though full training is provided.
- Reach Truck experience preferred; forklift/counterbalance operators can receive on-site conversion training.
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
