MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure projects are managed to meet an agreed realistic timescale bringing together suppliers and installation team on site whilst managing performances on site to ensure client score values of reliability, integrity and safety are demonstrated. Maintain margin on projects by ensuring tight control on scope and costs from the project team. Manage delivery in line with budgeted project profitability.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
The person should possess good attention to detail and have confidence in highlighting any mistakes and anomalies either internally to other employees or externally to clients or suppliers. An ability to solve problems and think on their feet is a key attribute balanced with the understanding to escalate and seek support as the need arises.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Accountable for outcome of assigned project, ensuring through own actions and those of the individual team members, that appropriate skills and resources are secured to enable delivery to agreed budgets/costs, timescales, quality standards, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and project profitability. Maintain an overall project plan to ensure all changes in project valuations and design are recorded. To reject internal job files showing anomalies or insufficient information. Management of subcontractors and excellent communication with customers. To set and achieve realistic deadlines with the confidence to reset client expectations where unrealistic or unachievable. Track and monitor deliverables, compliance, risks and all aspects of project implementation, with timely and efficient resolution of problems and issues to ensure smooth delivery. Financial management within Sage accounting software. Contractual management with responsibility to review and identify issues which may adversely affect the project. You will have complete ownership of numerous projects at any one time. You will be expected to deal with Senior Stakeholders from several different parties. Carry out site surveys. Monitor orders inbox and take appropriate action. Track invoices.
