Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of electrical repairs and maintenance on a large range of machinery. You will also be undertaking electrical installation work throughout the site, such as caballing for new equipment, power installations and lighting.
Along with monitoring machinery and reporting in any defects to management, you will be assisting in training apprentices and maintaining quality procedures.
Having worked in a similar role, you will have some mechanical ability and a good electrical understanding, ideally apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance and installation.
You will be a fully qualified time served electrician with PLC and Mechanical experience. You will also have good fault fighting skills and 18th edition wiring regulations experience.
Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred. You will be a keen team player with experience within a fast paced environment and the drive to push forward new initiatives.
