Using the ERP system, you will be placing orders and tracking deliveries, arranging returns where necessary. You will also be sourcing suppliers and liaising with them to chase deliveries where necessary and will be comfortable negotiating prices with new and existing suppliers.
You will be responsible for making sure stock sufficient stock levels are maintained throughout the business on consumables and for all product ranges across the business.
In addition to purchasing duties, you will be tasked with organising travel for employees and ensuring lease contracts on vehicles are maintained. You will also be responsible for the distribution of company uniform to employees and monitoring payments.
You will have previous experience in a purchasing role and will be comfortable liaising with suppliers and negotiating on prices.
Computer literacy is essential for this role as you will be creating reports for the purchasing manager.
You will be comfortable communicating with various internal departments and will be happy to undertake any ad hoc duties as required.
