Who we are

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.

What you'll do

The roles are transactional roles working as a team supporting a range of finance tasks including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank processing alongside customer service and supporting donors across a variety of methods including phone and face to face, therefore, strong customer service skills alongside finance administration experience are essential.

What you'll have

We are seeking applications from individuals with demonstrable high volume finance administration work experience within a complex organisation and who possess the skills to take on the tasks outlined in the job description.

You will be a strong communicator both verbally and written and able to balance competing priorities and deadlines. You will have practical experience of working with a wide range of office systems including Microsoft 365 and databases or financial systems.

Following completion of probationary period (6 months) there will be opportunities to undertake and progress further studies in relevant disciplines.

The successful candidate for this post will be required to provide proof of right to work in the UK and may also be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure Scotland check.
