Always Responsive Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at a school site in Hereford.
You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for staff and pupils by ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to the required standards.
A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet roll
- Operating cleaning equipment and machinery where required
- Following cleaning schedules and instructions
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and professional attitude

Working Pattern
This is a term-time position, working 38 weeks per year plus 5 additional deep cleaning weeks during school holiday periods.
Pay
£13.45 per hour.
This role is based on term-time working (38 weeks) plus 5 deep cleaning weeks. Pay is calculated based on these working weeks and paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months.
