Overview

Always Responsive Commercial Cleaning is a fast-growing facilities management company, delivering innovative cleaning and security solutions to clients across education, corporate, manufacturing and public sectors. We’re now looking for a talented and driven Bid Writer to join our team and play a key role in securing new contracts and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

Location: Bridgend, South Wales (Hybrid working available)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and research upcoming tender opportunities across public and private sectors.
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process: from opportunity tracking and qualification, to bid writing, submission and post-bid follow-up.
  • Write compelling, tailored, and fully compliant responses that clearly address specification requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational, HR, finance and leadership teams to gather information and develop winning solutions.
  • Maintain a library of bid content, case studies, evidence and KPIs to support efficient and high-quality submissions.
  • Track deadlines, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and ensure submissions are completed to a high standard and on time.

About you

  • Strong experience in bid writing, preferably within facilities management, cleaning, or security sectors.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Confident managing deadlines, collaborating across teams, and taking ownership of the bid process.
  • Commercially aware, with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Highly organised and motivated by winning.
