As part of a global technology group employing more than 4,000 people worldwide, we design, deploy and support mission‑critical software and IoT solutions dedicated to the airport industry. Our technologies are used by major international airports to optimize operations, improve passenger experience and ensure the highest levels of operational reliability.
Your Mission:
- Reporting to Group Management, you will lead global operational activities while acting as the local representative and leader of our UK entity.
Global Operations & Support Leadership (70%):
- Leading the deployment and commissioning of IoT solutions across more than 150 international airport sites.
- Ensuring the performance, availability and reliability of over 10,000 connected devices in operation worldwide.
- Managing global technical support activities and guaranteeing compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Driving continuous improvement of operational processes and customer service delivery.
- Overseeing international supply chain and logistics operations, including inventory management for hardware and spare parts.
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure flawless execution of projects and customer commitments.
Country Management – United Kingdom (20%):
- Act as the primary legal and operational representative of the British entity.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations in collaboration with Group support functions (HR, Finance, Legal, HSE).
- Lead and develop the London‑based team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, strategic partners and key stakeholders across the UK market.
Contract & Procurement Management (10%):
- Oversee service, maintenance and support contract management.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements.
- Monitor contractual KPIs and performance commitments.
- Manage procurement relationships with logistics providers, hardware suppliers and subcontractors.
About You:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in technical operations leadership roles.
- Strong exposure to international environments and matrix organizations.
- Proven experience managing operational teams and complex service delivery activities.
- Previous experience within industrial IoT, software, aerospace, transportation, critical infrastructure or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Experience managing a business unit, profit centre or international subsidiary would be a significant advantage.
Technical & Business Skills:
- Strong understanding of IoT and SaaS operational environments.
- Expertise in technical support organizations and large‑scale deployments.
- Solid knowledge of international supply chain and logistics management.
- Strong contractual and commercial acumen, particularly regarding maintenance agreements, SLAs and vendor management.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution.
Education:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
Personal Qualities:
- Executive presence and credibility with customers, partners and authorities.
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
- Highly organized with exceptional prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Comfortable working within a complex international environment.
Languages:
- English: Native or bilingual proficiency (mandatory).
Location: London (with frequent international travel).
Compensation: Attractive package (Base + Variable) in line with London market standards.
