Location: Remote

Type of contract: Permanent, Full-time (40h/week)

Starting date: As soon as possible

About The Role

As Head of Sales, Europe you will be Alvéole’s commercial tip of the spear on the continent. Based in London, you will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to close, across the UK and Continental Europe. This is not a management-only role: you will carry a personal quota, hunt for new logos and close deals while building the infrastructure and team to scale. You’ll inherit an existing book of European clients and be expected to multiply it. You’ll work closely with HQ in Montréal but operate with significant autonomy. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring and building the European sales team to support regional growth.

Challenges you’ll tackle:

  • Strengthen our relationships with European real estate owners.
  • Increase European market share by scaling current operating cities and opening new countries.
  • Own a high-intensity sales culture for the European team while being far from the company’s HQ.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and exceed the European revenue target, carrying a personal quota from day one.
  • Build and manage a high-velocity outbound pipeline targeting commercial real estate owners.
  • Run the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate and close annual recurring-revenue contracts.
  • Develop a market-entry playbook tailored to each European sub-region, including pricing, positioning, partnerships and go-to-market sequencing.
  • Serve as Alvéole’s primary face and voice in Europe by attending industry events, building relationships with CRE associations and generating market intelligence.
  • Recruit, hire and lead a small but growing European sales team as revenue milestones are hit.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations and Product to localise the offering and ensure flawless delivery.
  • Report accurate forecasts weekly.

Skills Required:

  • Drive & competitive spirit: You bring high energy and a strong desire to win. You’re motivated by outcomes, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and inspire others through your intensity and ownership.
  • Hands‑on operator: You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves. Whether it’s jumping into deals, refining messaging, or unblocking the team, you lead by doing and stay close to the work.
  • Outbound / hunter mindset: You proactively identify opportunities, uncover customer pain points, and drive demand. You don’t rely on inbound, you create momentum and position solutions that win priority.
  • Modern, efficiency‑driven sales approach: You think in terms of leverage, using tools, data, and AI to maximize output. You prioritize effectiveness, high quota attainment, and scalable impact over simply adding headcount.
  • Strong decision‑making ability: You make timely, confident decisions, even with imperfect information. You balance speed with sound judgment and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker: You connect day‑to‑day execution to long‑term goals. You bring structure to ambiguity, demonstrate strong judgment, and make decisions that drive sustainable growth.
  • Business & financial acumen: You understand the numbers behind growth. Beyond pipeline and win rates, you think in terms of LTV/CAC, payback periods, and overall business impact.
  • Leadership & influence: You lead through influence, not just authority. You set clear direction, elevate those around you, and contribute meaningfully to both team performance and culture.

What’s In It For You:

  • Work for a company that is at the forefront of the biodiversity and sustainability movement, driving change and positive impact in urban landscapes.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Generous and flexible PTO policy.
  • Regular company events to gather, connect, and have fun with peers remotely.
