Due to continued growth in our Manchester office, we are seeking a qualified Corporate Audit Senior Associate to join our Audit & Assurance team.
This role is ideal for a newly qualified or experienced Audit Senior looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and growing team. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients including corporate organisations, owner-managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations, and clients ranging from start-ups through to established and listed entities. You will work alongside experienced Partners and Managers in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers strong progression opportunities and exposure to both audit and advisory engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Act as the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis
- Prepare high-quality audit work and reporting for Manager and Partner review
- Identify risks and technical matters, providing clear solutions and recommendations
- Monitor progress against budget and report variances
- Prepare and present Audit Findings Reports
- Identify business improvement opportunities for clients
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- Lead and coach junior team members
- Provide on-the-job training in audit methodology and technical skills
- Promote a positive, collaborative team environment
- Provide and receive constructive feedback
- Contribute to wider office and firm-wide initiatives
- Strong audit and accounting experience, ideally including UK GAAP
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage audit fieldwork and liaise effectively across departments
