I am currently working with a highly regarded consulting organisation as they continue to expand their UK public sector practice. The business has built a strong reputation for helping public sector organisations navigate change, improve service delivery and deliver meaningful outcomes for communities.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Consultant to join their Local Government team, supporting a range of transformation and improvement programmes across the sector. This position offers the opportunity to work with councils and public service organisations on complex strategic and operational challenges. Projects typically range from service redesign and organisational transformation through to digital enablement, operating model development and programme delivery.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the successful delivery of transformation programmes within Local Government.
- Work alongside clients to identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation activity.
- Lead discrete workstreams while managing project timelines, risks and deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across client organisations.
- Develop insight-driven recommendations and communicate findings effectively.

- Experience working within Local Government, public sector consulting or a related public services environment.

- Able to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a client-facing environment.
- Commercially aware with an interest in supporting practice growth.
