Manager | Strategy & Transformation Consulting | Financial Services | London
I'm currently working with a specialist consulting firm looking to strengthen its London team with an experienced Strategy Manager .
The firm advises businesses across the financial services sector , working with senior leadership teams on a range of strategic challenges, from identifying new growth opportunities and assessing potential acquisitions to improving business performance and delivering major transformation programmes.
They have built a strong reputation in their market, with an established client base and a growing presence internationally. Their work is varied, often complex, and gives consultants the opportunity to get involved in decisions that have a real impact on how businesses operate.
They are now looking for someone who can lead consulting engagements, manage senior client relationships and take responsibility for delivering high-quality strategic work .
This would suit someone currently at Manager level, or a strong Senior Consultant ready to step up, who wants more ownership of their projects and the opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading consulting projects across growth strategy, M&A, business transformation and operational improvement
- Working directly with senior clients to understand their challenges, develop solutions and present recommendations
- Taking responsibility for projects from initial planning through to final delivery, managing timelines, budgets and client expectations
- Managing and developing teams of consultants, ensuring the quality of work and providing ongoing support
- Working closely with Partners on client engagements and contributing to proposals and new business opportunities
- Building lasting client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the financial services market
What We're Looking For
- A background in strategy or management consulting, ideally from an MBB or leading consulting firm
- Experience working with financial services clients , with a good understanding of the sector
- Strong experience in strategy development, problem-solving and managing consulting projects
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership teams
- Experience managing consultants and taking ownership of project delivery
- Strong analytical skills, sound commercial judgement and an ability to approach problems from different perspectives
- Someone ambitious who wants to develop their career within a growing consultancy
