I am currently partnering with a highly regarded financial services consultancy that is continuing to expand its advisory business and is looking to appoint an experienced Manager within its Banking practice.
The firm has built a strong reputation advising banks, financial institutions and regulated businesses on complex regulatory challenges, business transformation and compliance. With a team of over 80 consultants, former regulators and industry specialists, it combines deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of how financial services businesses operate.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Banking Regulatory Advisory Manager to take ownership of client engagements, work closely with Partners and help strengthen relationships across the banking market.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants greater client exposure, more commercial responsibility and the chance to establish themselves within a growing specialist consultancy.
The Opportunity
- Lead regulatory advisory engagements for banks and financial services clients , with a particular focus on lending and deposit-taking
- Advise clients on FCA and PRA requirements , helping them navigate regulatory change and complex compliance challenges
- Manage projects covering regulatory authorisations, compliance reviews, regulatory due diligence and supervisory matters
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders, providing practical advice on regulatory obligations and business requirements
- Take ownership of client relationships and oversee engagements from initial scoping through to delivery
- Lead and develop junior consultants, working closely with experienced Partners
- Contribute to business development, client proposals and the continued growth of the Banking practice
About You
- Strong experience within banking regulatory compliance or advisory , gained in a consultancy or financial services institution
- Good knowledge of bank lending and deposit-taking , ideally spanning consumer and commercial lending
- Strong understanding of FCA and PRA regulations , including relevant banking regulatory frameworks
- Experience leading regulatory projects, managing client relationships and advising senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness, with an interest in developing client relationships and supporting business growth
- Ambitious, proactive and interested in taking on greater responsibility within a growing advisory business
