Overview: We’re looking for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to support the day-to-day running of HR across our estate agency network. You’ll help ensure our people processes run smoothly, providing support with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general administration. This is an exciting new position within the business, offering the opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the role and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising, arranging interviews, referencing, right to work checks and preparing contracts.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Assist with employee relations matters such as absence, probation, leave requests, maternity/paternity, and performance reviews.
- Help coordinate training, development, personal and team wellbeing initiatives.
- Keep up to date and support HR compliance, ensuring implementation into company policies and recording appropriately.
- Prepare reports and HR documents when required.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years HR experience essential and able to work in line with CIPD & ACAS practices.
- Strong organisational, multitask, written and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable with a proactive attitude to problem solving.
- Property/agency experience would be a bonus.
