The Real Estate Team A&M Tax is an independent tax group made up of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. The Real Estate group extends A&M’s commitment to offering clients a choice in advisors who are free from audit‑based conflicts of interest and bring an unyielding commitment to delivering responsive client service. A&M Tax has offices in major metropolitan markets throughout EMEA, the U.S., Asia and Australia.
In today’s increasingly complex global tax environment, having international reach, a strong local presence and the right expertise is critical to the successful execution of all client tax affairs. Our Real Estate Tax team advises large real estate, infrastructure and renewable investors, funds, developers, banks and private businesses on transactions, tax structuring, risk management and commercial negotiations, supporting acquisitions, bids and investment strategies across a wide range of property, infrastructure and energy asset classes.
What will you be doing?
- Provide expert guidance on complex UK and international real estate tax issues, developing practical solutions for investors, funds, and developers.
- Supervise and coordinate tax advisory work on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, developments, and restructurings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead tax due diligence efforts, highlighting key risks and advising on optimal transaction structures to support investment objectives.
- Develop and oversee implementation of tax‑efficient holding, financing, and fund arrangements, including joint ventures and co‑investment structures, aligned with client goals.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for key stakeholders.
- Guide and support junior and mid‑level team members, enhancing technical expertise and encouraging professional growth.
- Oversee multiple engagements and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and profitably.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships.
- Advise clients on ongoing compliance, reporting, and investor tax obligations, proactively addressing potential challenges.
Qualifications
- A number of years experience in real estate tax.
- Strong writing, analytical, research and organizational skills.
- Experience leading client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment.
- ACA or CTA qualified.
