Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day on buy‐side and sell‐side transactions by managing a team, preparing analyses, drafting reports and sharing findings with clients.
  • Work closely with Managing Directors to articulate deal issues.
  • Develop rapport with clients and prepare client‐specific analyses enabling evaluation of potential transactions in the context of a client's investment strategy.
  • Gain broad exposure across different sectors working with large‐cap and mid‐cap private equity houses on platform acquisitions, bolt‐on acquisitions and other projects.
  • Collaborate with EMEA colleagues on complex transactions in the UK and EMEA.
  • Expand commercial aspects of financial analysis skills and gain insight on key drivers and valuation considerations of transactions.
  • Help develop junior colleagues through formal and informal training programmes and mentorship.

Qualifications

  • Detail‐oriented lead working primarily on recurring revenue businesses; strong Excel skills required.
  • 'Can do' attitude to get the job done.
  • Qualified accountant and/or exceptional academic record.
  • 3–7 years of financial due diligence experience in Transaction Advisory.
  • Training at a Big 4 firm or established Transaction Advisory practice.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
