How You Will Contribute
As a Senior Associate, you will lead and deliver regulatory strategy and transformation projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading client engagements focused on conduct regulations, including Retail (Consumer Duty) and wholesale conduct, regulatory change, and more.
- Assessing client frameworks and controls against regulatory expectations.
- Developing remediation plans in response to regulatory findings.
- Providing regulatory input into M&A, authorisation, or restructuring transactions.
- Engaging with regulators on behalf of clients.
- Translating regulatory developments into client-specific impacts.
- Coaching junior team members and contributing to knowledge development.
- Contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and market positioning activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in conduct regulation, with experience in supervision, consulting, or in-house compliance.
- Deep familiarity with the FCA handbook.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Ability to lead high-quality deliverables and present effectively to senior stakeholders.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with FCA-regulated firms.
- Knowledge of the FSMA 2000 s.166 Skilled Person regime.
- Broad financial services sector knowledge.
- Familiarity with cross-border regulatory change.
Education & Qualifications
- Strong academic background.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA/ACAMS/ICA/CISI.
