The Talent Acquisition Research team sits within the wider Talent Acquisition function and is responsible for the research and market intelligence stage of senior hiring across the firm. The team partners closely with TA Leads and Hiring Managers/senior stakeholders to support Managing Director, Partner, and other senior‐level searches across EMEA. This includes identifying and engaging high‐calibre external talent, developing robust longlists and market maps, and providing insight on talent availability, competitor activity, and market dynamics.

How you will contribute

  • Deliver high‐quality longlists and detailed market maps for senior leadership and critical role hiring across EMEA, with a focus on Managing Director and senior executive populations.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Leads to shape search strategy and translate business priorities into structured, insight‐led research approaches.
  • Participate in search kick‐off meetings with Talent Acquisition Leads and Hiring Managers, contributing market intelligence and search direction.
  • Identify and discreetly engage senior‐level talent, providing informed views on candidate interest, availability, and market positioning.
  • Act as a talent market adviser, sharing insight on external talent dynamics, competitor activity, and leadership trends.
  • Support the development of industry and functional research insights through ongoing monitoring of relevant markets and competitors.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in research within a retained executive search firm, with exposure to senior leadership and C‐suite mandates, or equivalent experience in a high‐end in‐house TA research function.
  • Experience supporting senior‐level searches, including candidate identification and initial outreach.
  • Strong background in complex market mapping and targeted sourcing across geographies and sectors.
  • Advanced sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, X‐ray techniques, and broader market intelligence sources.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and discretion.
  • Fluency in English and another European language is preferred but not a must.
