We are looking for individuals with experience working on advisory (IBRs, short term cash flow reviews, options analysis, and accelerated M&A processes) and insolvency (formal insolvency and contingency planning) assignments. You will play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of a wide‑ranging portfolio of advisory and insolvency cases, working with many of the industry's leading Managing Directors. In addition to a broad range of regional mid‑market restructuring engagements, you will have exposure to multi‑stakeholder and often multi‑national restructuring advisory engagements and/or UK and cross‑border insolvency appointments. Successful candidates will gain an exceptional range of experience, working on assignments across the restructuring spectrum. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in business development and targeting activities. You will also benefit from our flexible culture and hybrid working policy.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA or ACCA; JIEB or CPI are desirable but not essential. Experience within the Restructuring team of a Big 4 or other large national practice or regional professional services firm. You should have a strong background in financial analysis, project managing a mixed case portfolio and supervising staff, and up‑to‑date knowledge of insolvency legislation, relevant case law, SIPs and guidance from regulators and government bodies. Demonstrate the desire to build on existing skill sets and develop additional knowledge of all restructuring offerings with evident project experience in some or all of the following: company‑side advisory projects, accelerated sale processes, IBRs, short‑term cash flow, formal insolvency and contingency planning.
In addition to the skills and qualities detailed above, the desired candidate will also demonstrate the following attributes:
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, challenging, and uncertain environment
- Aptitude for business development and targeting
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Objective, fact‑based approach to problem solving
- Driven by values and integrity, building confidence and leading by example.
