The Team

Our TAG team have established Alvarez & Marsal as one of the leading providers of financial due diligence globally and the leading firm to develop a fulfilling career in Transaction Advisory. Our award-winning practice includes over 1,200 professionals in over 40 offices across the United States, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. We work for premium clients across a range of sectors and deal sizes in all our geographies. A&M provides investors and lenders with the answers needed to get the deal done. We combine our firm’s deep operational, industry and functional resources with quality financial accounting and tax expertise to assess key deal drivers and focus on the root cause of any critical deal issues. The largest Transaction Advisory practice outside the Big Four, our global integrated teams help private equity and corporate acquirers unlock value across the investment cycle.
How you will contribute
- Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright, energetic people with a truly entrepreneurial spirit
- Work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work

- Deliver international projects on behalf of many of the most prominent organisations worldwide
- Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
- Contribute to & lead projects & work streams reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors
- Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and across geographies and build broad international deal experience
- Gain exposure to senior members of the team in the UK and internationally gaining ‘on the job learning & development in addition to established formal training programmes
- Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to analysing the key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction
- Work alongside A&M’s operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence & wider deal process

Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years experience in Transaction Services (financial due diligence) at a Big 4 firm is essential
- A strong academic record and professional qualifications are helpful
- Fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
