Location: Nationwide

Salary: Dependant on experience/qualifications

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 9:00-17:00 (midweek and weekend overtime available)

About the role: We are looking for a Junior Monitoring Engineer/Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of surveying, engineering or monitoring experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to learn & undertake various types of monitoring sessions using a variety of specialised equipment and technology.
  • Assisting with data collection and data processing elements of all projects in the team's portfolio and to meet the required Company standards including health and safety.
  • Willingness to stay away from home where required due to project requirements.
  • Assisting with undertaking monitoring programmes on various sites UK wide which will include total station and levelling operations, setting up, and maintaining both monitoring and engineering surveys.
  • Pro-actively take responsibility to learn survey theory and practice, new techniques, and about new instruments to embark on a career as a professional surveyor.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

Requirements:
  • 1 year previous Surveying, Engineering or Monitoring experience.
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working to high safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • An ambition to learn and develop.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
  • The right to work in the UK.
