The Role: Asset‑backed finance is one of the most essential and expansive forms of financing in the global economy, touching everything from consumer purchases to industrial leasing. We deliver tailored securitized products to support loan originators as they scale portfolios with disciplined risk management and capital efficiency. We offer balance‑sheet flexibility, fostering funding strategies and development assurance. We are seeking a Senior Analyst in Asset‑Backed Finance with between 3 and 5 years of securitization experience gained at a bank, asset manager, credit fund, or advisory firm. You will play a key role in the full deal lifecycle, from origination and due diligence through structuring, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the structuring and execution of structured credit transactions across consumer loans, SME loans, credit cards, operating leasing, and other types of receivables.
- Assess the loan book of originators and stratify the analysis by cohorts.
- Build and review asset and liabilities cash flow models, including stress testing and scenario testing.
- Draft term sheets and liaise with legal counsel to work on the deal documents.
- Coordinate the workflow of different counterparts, including FX hedging partner, corporate services provider, security trustee, cash manager, paying agent, account bank, collateral verification agent, backup servicer etc.
- Prepare the deal memos for the internal committees.
- Liaise with the client to gather and polish data, run pre‑due‑diligence assessment including financial analysis on the originator/servicer.
- Support the creation of teaser and presentation for partnered investors.
- Support the post term sheet due diligence (operating, financial, legal, underwriting policy, collection policy, NPL management, regulatory).
Portfolio Monitoring:
- Monitor ongoing performance of purchased portfolios and underlying collateral.
- Assess servicer reporting, covenant compliance, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare internal portfolio reviews and investor reporting materials.
- Liaise with third‑party agencies and vendors to ensure smooth reporting to investors.
Stakeholder Management: liaise with banks, asset managers, legal counsel, service providers, and senior management. Present analyses and investment materials to investment committees and partners.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of securitization / structured credit experience at the structuring desk of a bank or asset‑backed credit fund with major exposure to performing assets.
- Solid understanding of loan book analysis, stress testing, scenario testing, asset and liabilities cash flow analysis.
- Solid understanding of typical securitization legal documents, covenants, credit enhancement techniques.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to directly deal with clients.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills (Excel and Python).
- Experience in working with junior analysts and interns.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with long hours.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
