Corgi is building an AI financial infrastructure company. Corgi is vertically integrating the entire insurance industry. We design, underwrite, price, and issue insurance directly. Insurance is the largest unautomated industry in financial services, and we're rebuilding it from the ground up using AI. We've raised $374M from Kindred, TCV, and others to do so.
Building something great requires working hard. We are in the office 6-7 days a week. We are meritocratic with very high standards. If you don't meet them, you'll get cut. But if you deliver, you have unlimited scope to grow. We move quickly, care deeply about talent density, and hire people who want to solve difficult problems with unusually high ownership.
What you'll do:
- Take on a broad range of projects – operational, strategic, logistical, and everything in between – and run them end-to-end.
- Triage and execute the constant stream of requests landing on the Head of Ops.
- Build the operational infrastructure that lets us scale headcount without breaking.
- Spot the things that are broken or missing, then fix them before anyone asks.
- Context-switch constantly and operate with discretion across everything you touch.
What we're looking for:
- A track record of building things, side projects, or anything that shows you make stuff happen outside of a job description.
- You move fast and get things done.
- You don't wait to be told what to do, and you don't need things to be perfect before you ship.
- You're comfortable with the unglamorous work. Chasing vendors, fixing logistics, sitting on hold with HMRC – none of it is beneath you.
- You think structurally. You can take a messy problem and turn it into a plan.
- You communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and in person.
- Low ego, high agency.
Bonus points:
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup.
- Background in a high-intensity environment (law, consulting, banking, startup, sport, military).
- You use AI to 10x your output while maintaining high standards.
