Experience: 3+ years

About the role

Corgi is vertically integrating the entire insurance industry. We design, underwrite, price, and issue insurance directly – no brokers, no third-party administrators. Insurance is the largest unautomated industry in financial services, and we're rebuilding it from the ground up using AI. We've raised $374M from Kindred, TCV, and others to do so. Building something great requires working hard. We are in the office 7 days a week. We are meritocratic with very high standards. If you don't meet them, you'll get cut. But if you deliver, you have unlimited scope to grow.

We're hiring one country launcher per market. You'll spend your first months in London embedded with the Strategic Projects team – running filings, learning the product, and prepping your country launch. Then you’ll go and launch your office. You'll be the first Corgi employee on the ground, hire your sales lead, deal with the local regulator, and start selling insurance. Your comp will be directly tied to your office’s performance. This is the closest thing to founding a company without founding one.

What you'll do

  • Start in London. Run strategic and operational projects across our EU launch, embedded with the founding team.
  • Own the regulatory and operational prep for your country – filings, local entity setup, banking, partners.
  • Move to your country and open the office. Sign the lease, set up the systems, hire the first sales lead.
  • Sell insurance. You're the first commercial face of Corgi in your market until we hire under you.
  • Manage the regulator relationship in-country.
  • Own the country P&L.

What we're looking for

  • Native or fluent in French, German, Italian, or Spanish – you need to be able to talk to regulators in your language.
  • 3+ years in a high-intensity environment (consulting, banking, early-stage startup).
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional achievement.
  • Low ego, high agency.

Bonus points

  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
  • Existing network of founders, brokers, or regulators in your target country.
  • You use AI to 10x your output while maintaining high standards.

About the interview

Our Process

  • Step 1: 15-minute intro call with the hiring manager.
  • Step 2: Take-home task.
  • Step 3: 48-hour in-person work trial in our London office.
