Alumni Global is delighted to be partnering with an NHS Group Provider to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Interim Chief Executive Officer for one of its district general hospitals. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to provide visible, strategic leadership during a period of significant operational and system-wide transformation.

The hospital plays a vital role at the heart of its community. As Interim CEO, you will be responsible for driving strong operational and clinical performance, ensuring the hospital continues to deliver safe, high-quality care while evolving within a progressive integrated care system. A key priority will be to lead the site effectively within a developing Group structure, aligning local delivery with system ambitions and contributing to the emergence of a new, collaborative organisational model.

We are seeking an accomplished operational leader with a proven track record in service improvement, transformation, and clinical engagement. This opportunity will appeal to those with extensive Chief Operating Officer experience, or to previous Chief Executives who are motivated by the chance to shape the future of group leadership alongside a highly experienced Group CEO.

Reporting into the Group Chief Executive, the successful candidate will demonstrate credibility, pace, and influence—bringing a collaborative leadership style that fosters strong relationships with staff, partners, and wider system stakeholders.
