SALARY: £25,147 - £30,443 FTE / Actual Annual Salary £14,370 - £17,396 (for 20 Hours) + Generous Benefits

Job Overview: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sheltered Retirement Housing Scheme Manager with experience in facilities, building, estate management, or health and safety. As Scheme Manager, you will join a friendly team providing a people-centred service to retired residents, supporting the day-to-day management of buildings, apartments, and bungalows, promoting independent living. You will ensure high standards of health, safety, security, and cleanliness for residents.
DUTIES: Your responsibilities will include:
- Accountable for Health & Safety and Fire safety checks with comprehensive, auditable records
- Managing the building and estate, including reporting repairs, conducting fire alarms, pull cord checks, and recording issues
- Assisting the Housing and Lettings Team with viewings, assessments, tenancy sign-ups, and inductions, ensuring understanding of tenancy agreements and property facilities
- Managing tenancy terminations and liaising with the team and contractors
- Providing a person-centred service aligned with the Retirement Living ethos
- Ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed and reports are made in line with legislation
- Engaging with customers, facilitating social and wellbeing activities, and liaising with care, statutory, and voluntary agencies
- Managing facilities such as guest rooms and communal areas
- Handling low-level Anti-Social Behaviour cases according to policies and guiding customers on reporting issues
- Liaising with relevant agencies as needed
- Assisting customers with Housing Benefit claims to ensure timely rent payments
- Monitoring and reporting on customer safety and wellbeing, referring to support services as needed
- Managing low-level complaints on site per company policies
