The purpose of the Account Manager is to manage a defined territory with a focus on co-creating shared business plans that are aligned to customer objectives and that service the strategic goals of AlumierMD. Through effective account segmentation and the identification of customer needs, the Account Manager will create long term, strategic partnerships with accounts that focus on revenue growth and customer retention.

From a brand perspective, the purpose of the Account Manager is to represent AlumierMD constantly and consistently as a true value partner within the medical skin care sector, identifying opportunities to set AlumierMD apart in terms of service and support provision.

Territory Management
  • Actively segment the defined account base with a focus on identifying opportunities for future growth within existing accounts aligned to AlumierMD's sales strategy.
  • Set individual objectives for customer interactions including visit frequency, remote event attendance and education consumption based upon defined segmentation criteria.
  • In a timely and accurate manner, record all customer activity aligned to plans within the AlumierMD CRM system.
  • Regularly report on growth and activity metrics to the Regional Manager, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency in territory management and best practice examples for the benefit of the wider team.
  • Monitor and analyse data trends across the account base on a monthly basis to create accurate future forecasts for territory performance and pipeline activities.
  • Build accurate sales forecast at a customer level based upon shared business plans.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
  • You will be responsible for actively prospecting, building relationships, and closing sales.
  • Identify and target potential clients through various prospecting methods, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a regular basis by consistently closing sales and generating revenue.
Account Planning
  • Identify customer needs and objectives through effective questioning to determine appropriate account plans.
  • Create shared business plans with accounts at all levels with a focus on 3-, 6- and 12-month objectives for activities and revenue growth.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers within key accounts to build high level relationships that focus on long term retention for AlumierMD.
  • Accurately record all shared account plans within the AlumierMD CRM system.
  • Leverage market insight and consumer data to drive account planning activities, ensuring that customers are constantly engaged with the value of long-term planning.
  • Ensure the coordination of internal resources to service the needs of customers account plans, including Education, Marketing Assets and Campaigns, Product Supply etc.
  • Focus account plans on multiple engagements across the AlumierMD offering - maximising customer engagement with e-commerce, Education and Marketing programmes.
Execution of AlumierMD Strategy
  • Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, ensure that account plans are focused on the key pillars of the AlumierMD sales strategy.
  • Communicate new product launches, promotions, formulation changes, and key marketing activities to all customers within the defined territory, making sure that key messages and support materials are delivered in time to maximise market impact.
  • Always identify key advocates of AlumierMD's behavioural charter, focusing on collaboration with customers to gain market insight that serves the development of AlumierMD's future strategies and sales programmes.
  • Leveraging customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities and in clinic best practices which offer a competitive advantage to AlumierMD.
  • Focus account plans on delivering revenue growth in professional product purchasing through access to education which promotes cross/up selling of AlumierMD professional treatments.
  • Actively drive professional customers to engage with the AlumierMD e-commerce platform for product retailing as part of shared business plans.
  • Continually identify new business opportunities with motivated and engaged professional prospects.
  • Regularly report pipeline to the regional manager and recording development activities within the AlumierMD CRM system.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with the client services executive team to ensure the customer is being managed effectively, expectations are managed and that any opportunities are handled appropriately in line with the company's ways of working.
  • Effectively facilitate internal account management teams to contribute ideas.
  • Break down internal trust barriers that may hinder collaboration to grow accounts.
  • Ensure full compliance to internal processes including maintenance of our CRM records.
  • Regular reporting meetings with your line manager to discuss performance in terms of pipeline, account planning, grace objectives, and market opportunities.
  • Be the ultimate owner of the customer relationship.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on all departments to address customer opportunities and concerns but always ensuring that you are the main point of contact for accounts.
  • Support internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service, treating all stakeholders with respect and reasonable requests.
  • Have great ideas and a willingness to put them into practice, sharing best practice with colleagues and learning from one another.
Education and Experience
  • Proven track record of individual sales capability and achieving set KPIs.
  • Success in creating account development plans and account growth.
  • Experience of working with a CRM system.
  • Demonstrable experience of working to a proven sales methodology.
  • Understanding of the aesthetics industry.
  • Use of MS Office applications and e-mail.
  • Educated to degree level, scientific and business disciplines preferred.
  • Senior account management experience with high level (business owner) contacts.
  • Is a thought leader and seen as an expert by both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to manage, analyse and control a sales pipeline.
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Proven track record of sales target achievement in a consultative manner.
  • A successful track record in achieving results consistently.
  • Experience of building strong, long term and trusting relationships with senior customer contacts with high revenue contributions.
  • Commercial knowledge of business and value, making decisions to support the needs of the business.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and a desire to succeed.
  • Be able to multitask and possess excellent administrative management.
