We\’re looking for a motivated and experienced professional in the roofing industry to join our Technical Services Department. In this role, you\’ll work closely with an established team, handling all aspects of design with a focus on roofing and drainage products, supporting our wider commercial team.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
· Promote products and services.
· Maintain detailed knowledge of regulations.
· Maintain detailed knowledge of materials and specifications.
· Resolve queries on product application, regulations, detailing, substitution, and performance.
· Create detailed specifications in support of the core product offer for inclusion into project tender.
· Provide calculations associated to the works e.g., u-value, drainage, wind load analysis.
· Produce 2D architectural details using AutoCAD to illustrate the application of products.
· Review and comment on architectural drawings for specification compliance.
· Deliver against KPIs
· On occasion, attend construction sites and client meetings in support of the external sales team to resolve technical issues and ensure correct procedures are being followed.
· Support the introduction and implementation of any new product or service.
· Adherence to all relevant Health & Safety policy and regulations and the procedures for the processes that apply to the area of work and responsibility.
Desired skills/qualities
· Experience in the roofing industry.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Well organised, with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
· Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
· Capable of working successfully on your own and as part of a team.
· Good level in AutoCAD, Outlook, Word, Excel.
· Hold full clean UK driving licence.
