What are we looking for?
An estimator to assist in the technical aspects of Aluminium Systems from a pricing and project support perspective to both internal and external customers.
- Provide technical and CAD support for existing customer enquiries and assisting the sales team in the support of new customers;
- Facilitate the timely development and delivery of project specific solutions; provide timely responses to design/pricing questions and queries;
- Produce thermal analysis for projects;
- Assist in major project delivery and value engineering
- Assist the department in the preparation and implementation of programmes, material delivery schedules and other support tools;
- Provide product recommendations to fulfil customer / project requirements;
- Liaise with architects, main contractors, fabricators and installers for all product related matters;
- Competent interpretation and review of performance, product standards and specifications for projects;
- Compilation of quotations and presentation packs for customers and AluK sales / specification team;
- Carry out weekly sales follow up for quotations and leads with various stakeholders on projects
- Take ownership of project pipeline stages assigned to the role and help move projects through to the later stages.
- Assist in the compilation of product and project specifications led by the AluK specification team;
- Input and management of CRM system data ensuring correct data is available on all projects within the system.
Who are we looking for?
- Previous Autocad 2D experience
- Strong technical knowledge with good detailing ability
- Knowledge of Aluminium Façade fabrication
- Previous experience of working in our industry
- Previous experience of building and maintaining relationships with customers
- Excellent level of IT literacy
