Altus Partners has been mandated by an investor-backed medical manufacturing company to appoint an M&A Director. This pivotal role will support and accelerate the company’s ambitious Buy & Build strategy as it scales operations across Europe. Based in the North West of the UK, the company is seeking a highly driven professional with a background in Transaction Services, M&A or Investment Banking who can lead transactions through the full deal lifecycle.
THE ROLE:
- Lead and execute strategic acquisitions and key inorganic growth initiatives across the UK.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement business plans and group-level strategy.
- Manage transactions end-to-end—from deal sourcing through to execution and post-deal integration.
- Work closely with the C-Suite and Head of M&A to originate and assess acquisition targets aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Support integration efforts post-acquisition to ensure a smooth transition and operational success.
- Provide hands-on involvement in both strategic and operational aspects of M&A, gaining exposure across all phases of the transaction process.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&A from advisory, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.
- Proven track record of managing full deal processes independently.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and accounting expertise.
- Commercially astute with strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Capable of working autonomously while building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
