Senior CDM Consultant | London | Liverpool Street
I’m working with a well established construction consultancy looking to bring a Senior CDM Consultant into their team, based close to Liverpool Street in the City of London.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDM professional to join a consultancy working across a varied portfolio of projects, providing CDM and Principal Designer services to clients across the built environment.
The Role?
You’ll take a key role in delivering CDM consultancy and Principal Designer services, working closely with clients, designers and wider project teams to manage health and safety risks throughout the design and construction process.
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as CDM Principal Designer on a range of projects.
- Advising clients on their duties and responsibilities under the CDM Regulations 2015.
- Coordinating design risk management and ensuring foreseeable risks are identified, eliminated or controlled.
- Reviewing design information and challenging design teams where necessary to improve health and safety outcomes.
- Preparing and reviewing Pre Construction Information and Health and Safety Files.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and design teams.
- Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued development of the CDM team.
The Candidate?
You’ll be an experienced CDM Consultant or Principal Designer with a strong understanding of the CDM Regulations and the ability to confidently advise clients and coordinate design risk management.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience delivering CDM consultancy and Principal Designer services within a construction consultancy environment.
- A good understanding of design risk management and the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- A relevant construction, design or health and safety qualification.
