A well-established UK-wide property consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join its close-knit yet ambitious London Building Surveying team.
With a reputation for delivering expert advice across some of the UK's most unique and historically significant properties, the business offers exposure to the full suite of traditional Building Surveying services, combining professional instructions with project delivery work across both private residential and commercial assets.
Currently a team of five, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to play a key role in the next phase of growth and help shape the future of the London Building Surveying offering.
The Role
Working across a diverse portfolio of predominantly listed and period properties, you will deliver a range of building surveying services, including:
- Building Surveys
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Building Defect Analysis
- Contract Administration
- Project Delivery
- Restoration & Conservation Projects
You will have the opportunity to work on genuinely unique instructions, including Grade I and Grade II Listed Buildings, prestigious period estates, and landmark projects such as the Royal Albert Hall.
The Successful Associate Building Surveyor
- MRICS qualified (Building Surveying pathway)
- Strong all-round Building Surveying experience
- Experience in restoration, maintenance and building fabric (preferred)
- Experience working with listed or heritage buildings (preferred)
- Comfortable delivering both professional and project-led instructions
- Strong client-facing communication skills
In Return
- ~£75,000 - £85,000 pa (basic salary)
