A leading independent UK-wide property consultancy is seeking a Director-level Building Surveyor to lead and grow its Dilapidations service line. With offices across the UK and a strong reputation in the commercial property market, this consultancy advises some of the most prominent investors and institutions in the sector across industrial, office, PBSA and build-to-rent.
This is a newly created leadership opportunity, working alongside the UK Head of Dilapidations and collaborating with teams across multiple UK offices.
The Role
- End-to-end delivery of Landlord & Tenant dilapidations instructions
- Business development with existing and target clients across the investment and institutional market
- Coordinating and championing the service line internally across all UK offices
- Driving consistency, best practice and quality control
- Supporting and developing the wider dilapidations team
You will work with a high-profile client base spanning institutional investors, asset managers, developers and commercial landlords.
The Successful Candidate
- MRICS (Building Surveying pathway)
- Proven dilapidations expertise at a senior level
- An established client base and the appetite to generate new instructions
- Strong commercial acumen - comfortable working to fee targets
- Confident communicator and credible business developer
- Leadership experience, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
