Principal Consultant – Heat Networks – UK Wide Opportunities

I am working with a dynamic and growing sustainability team that is expanding its Heat Network (HN) and Distributed Energy (DE) service across the UK.

You’ll join a forward-thinking team providing wider energy and sustainability consultancy to high profile clients across housing associations, the public sector and commercial businesses

Who I’m looking for:

• Proven consultancy experience in HN and DE projects
• Experience in facilitating and delivering DE schemes across various clients
• Strong understanding of technologies such as solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, and EV infrastructure
• Working knowledge of energy demands in buildings, relevant regulations and design codes e.g., CP1, Building Regulation Part L
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills

What you’ll be working on:

• Supporting the development of local and regional energy networks
• Shaping carbon reduction programmes and net zero strategies
• Advising clients on technical, commercial and policy-related aspects of DE projects
• Collaborating with internal sustainability and energy experts across a wide portfolio
