This is an opportunity for a Senior to Associate Director Building Surveyor to join a highly respected, independently owned property consultancy with a national presence and a strong reputation for delivering specialist asset management and building consultancy services across the UK (mainly London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds).

Due to continued growth within their Building Consultancy team, they are looking to appoint a Senior to Associate Director level Building Surveyor with strong experience in fire remediation and cladding projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead on high-profile commercial schemes, with a clear bias towards project management and contract administration.

Building Surveyor Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver fire remediation and cladding projects across commercial property portfolios
  • Act as Contract Administrator and/or Project Manager on schemes from inception through to completion. 80% bias over professional services
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, and risk to ensure successful delivery
  • Oversee external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Undertake client-facing responsibilities, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
  • Contribute to business development and growth of the building surveying work stream
Building Surveyor Requirements
  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (or working towards)
  • Proven experience delivering fire remediation and cladding projects
  • Strong background in project management and contract administration
  • Experience working within commercial property environments
  • Excellent knowledge of current building safety regulations and legislation
  • Confident client-facing professional with strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead on complex instructions
