Class 3 Principal Building Regulation Consultant– Central / West London

£70,000 – £80,000 + Benefits

Are you a Class 3 Registered Building Regulation consultant or looking for a more rewarding challenge? One industry leading consultancy is seeking ambitious professionals to take on some of the UK’s most high-value and complex construction projects.

Offering projects including landmark, high-rise residential developments, heritage restorations, luxury hotels, commercial towers and student accommodation, this role is ideal for an experienced Principal Building Control Surveyor who wants to engage with ambitious and technically diverse work, in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assessing Building Regulation applications and providing detailed plan checks.
• Conducting site inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Advising clients and design teams on Building Control and Building Safety Act requirements.
• Offering technical support and contributing to day-to-day project operations.
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Class 3 Registration under the new BSR (via BCCA or BSCF) – completed or in progress.
• Broad experience across commercial and residential projects as a Building Control Surveyor.
• Chartered membership with CABE, CIOB, or RICS.
• In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and current construction legislation.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong client relationship skills.
