Overview

Altura Recruitment are seeking a talented and committed Event Sous Chef to join our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef with strong leadership abilities and a genuine passion for food. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the team in delivering exceptional food and high-quality events that meet our exacting standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in designing and developing innovative menus that align with current trends and client expectations
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain efficient operations and consistently high standards
  • Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Take an active role in cooking, presentation, and plating to ensure dishes meet specification and quality standards
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage storage effectively to reduce waste
