Social Media Strategist

We are partnering with a global, publicly listed technology leader to appoint a Social Media Strategist into their corporate marketing and communications function.

This organisation operates at significant international scale, supporting mission-critical industries through advanced technology, software, and data-driven solutions. The role sits at group level and plays a visible part in shaping how the brand shows up across social platforms globally.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented social media professional who enjoys blending hands-on execution with strategic contribution. You will work closely with senior marketing and communications leaders and support social media activity for both the corporate brand and senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across core social platforms, with a strong focus on LinkedIn
• Write high-quality, on-brand social copy tailored to different audiences and formats
• Support social media activity for senior leaders and executives
• Partner with brand, creative, communications, and content teams to deliver consistent storytelling
• Manage content calendars, approvals, and day-to-day channel activity
• Monitor and engage with social communities in a professional, brand-safe manner
• Track performance and deliver clear reporting and insights
• Support social media governance, best practices, and account management
• Contribute to the rollout and optimisation of an employee advocacy programme

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in social media and digital marketing
• Strong writing and storytelling capability
• Deep understanding of major social platforms and social analytics
• Confident working with senior stakeholders
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment

Location : UK-based (hybrid working)
