I'm recruiting on behalf of a global B2B organisation for a Marketing Operations Generalist to join their Group Marketing team, with strong exposure to Marketing Technology and operational projects. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role supporting marketing governance, MarTech operations, data quality, and process optimisation within a complex, matrixed environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys making marketing run smoothly behind the scenes and is naturally process- and systems-oriented.
What youâll be doing
- Marketing Governance & Operating Standards
- Support day-to-day operation of the marketing governance framework
- Maintain policies, guidelines, intake processes, and workflow tracking
- Act as a first point of contact for governance-related queries
- Track governance activity, adoption, and compliance
- Support weekly governance calls and monthly updates
- Marketing Technology Operations
- Provide operational support across marketing technology platforms
- Maintain user access, permissions, and platform hygiene
- Document MarTech processes, integrations, and usage guidelines
- Support tool inventories, usage tracking, and operational logs
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior stakeholders
- Data Quality & Reporting Support
- Perform routine data quality checks to support analytics and reporting
- Prepare inputs for monthly marketing scorecards and operational reports
- Maintain KPI documentation and flag data issues or inconsistencies
- Operational Efficiency & Project Support
- Document workflows and support small optimisation initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual or repetitive tasks
- Support updates to intake forms, approval workflows, and dashboards
- Assist with coordination of small operational projects and workstreams
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain marketing SOPs and shared documentation repositories
- Support onboarding for new team members
- Help organise and clean up shared content and workspaces
- Create and update training materials during and after the cover period
What weâre looking for
- 2â4 yearsâ experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, CRM/MAP support, or governance/compliance
- Handsâon experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot or similar)
- Highly detailâoriented with a processâdriven mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
- Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams in a fastâpaced environment
Nice to have
- Experience in large, global, matrixed B2B organisations
- Exposure to analytics concepts (funnel KPIs, attribution, RevOps)
- Experience creating SOPs, documentation, or training materials
- Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, Wrike, or similar
