We’re on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly finance team in Warrington (WA1). Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time work, we’re happy to be flexible with hours — as long as you’re organised, detail-oriented, and up for getting stuck in.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:30 | Friday, 08:00–16:00
Location: Office-based in Warrington
Contract: Flexi — part-time or full-time (to be agreed)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (pro-rata for part-time)
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing cheques, refunds and outbound client payments
- Applying payment reports and reconciling bank statements
- Investigating discrepancies and liaising with third parties
- Handling invoice checks (bulk billing – weekly/monthly)
- Keeping team SLAs on track and assisting with ad-hoc finance admin
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has great attention to detail and a knack for spotting what doesn’t add up
- Is comfortable working under pressure and hitting deadlines
- Can confidently communicate (written and verbal) across teams
- Knows their way around Excel and general MS Office tools
- Is a good listener, proactive, and ready to support the wider team
You’ll need to pass a DBS and credit check and show proof of right to work in the UK.
