Senior Finance Manager | £60-65k | Charity | Largely remote with occasional travel across the country
This Senior Finance Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to join a large charity supporting employment initiatives. The organization is undergoing a period of change and seeks an experienced accountant to lead the team in managing budgeting, month-end, and year-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Finance Managers and Management Accountants
- Lead budget setting and the production of forecasts
- Present financial analysis to senior management & ensure business plans are effective
- Prepare and update Management Accounts, investigate variances, and identify improvements
- Maintain robust financial controls across the finance function
- Lead the planning and management of the year-end accounts process
Person Specification
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at a similar level
- Experience managing staff, preferably in larger organizations
- Experience in management accounting
- Experience in the non-profit or public sector is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and ambitious mindset
