We are partnering with a highly-regarded international charity working to address severe forms of exploitation and drive positive change for vulnerable communities across the world, to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality financial management across the organisation.
You will lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, produce detailed management accounts, deliver insights to senior leadership, and support donor reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities- Leading annual budgeting, forecasting and multi-year planning cycles.
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary.
- Partnering with budget holders to prepare and review budgets, forecasts and variance explanations.
- Providing financial insights, analysis and ad hoc reports to senior stakeholders including board reports.
- Preparing and reviewing donor budgets and financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with donor requirements and maintaining strong internal processes.
- Supporting donor audits and ensuring accurate tracking of restricted funds.
- Overseeing month-end processes, including salary and overhead allocations.
- Supporting statutory audit preparation and contributing to improvements in financial systems and tools.
- Providing financial training and guidance to non-finance staff.
- Be a fully qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Have a strong track record in budgeting, forecasting and delivering clear financial insights.
- Be confident producing management accounts and supporting senior decision-makers.
- Have experience working in a charity, NGO or donor-funded environment.
In return, you will receive a generous non-contributory pension contribution of 10%, flexible working arrangement with two days per week required in the Central London office and a holiday allowance of 25 days plus Bank holidays.
