About the Role
This role sits within a team responsible for testing and strengthening controls across the business, spanning both operational and IT areas. The company is growing fast, and this role exists to help build the control environment as the business scales, rather than maintain something already fixed in place. You will work across multiple parts of the business, often with limited precedent to follow, so the role suits someone comfortable defining their own approach and moving quickly without waiting for full clarity.
What You Will Do
- Test the design and operating effectiveness of controls across business and IT processes.
- Work directly with process owners across the business to understand how things actually operate, not just how they are documented.
- Identify control gaps and work with stakeholders to design practical improvements.
- Support the business as new processes and systems are introduced during a period of rapid growth.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Take ownership of your own workload and prioritise across competing demands.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience testing controls, ideally spanning both business and IT processes.
- Comfortable working at pace and navigating ambiguity, with a self-starter mindset.
- Some audit experience or understanding is a plus but not required.
- Confident working directly with stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders.
- Based in or able to commute to Central London two days per week.
