A leading Infrastructure Services and Consulting Firm is looking for Procurement specialists to join their Advisory team at a Senior level. The business has won multiple awards for best in class across a range of industries and services and is recognised as a leader in their field. They offer a suite of services to clients across the built environment, from advisory, to construction and engineering, digital, sustainability, and project & programme management – along with having an excellent culture. The business provides candidates the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and forward thinking projects in the market, which really make a difference to communities and business. The successful candidates will sit in a small procurement function of around 8 people in a wider Advisory team of around 120. You will be based in either Manchester or Leeds and responsible for helping to grow the practice, manage more junior colleagues, and lead on a variety of engagements. Responsibilities: Providing expert procurement advice and delivery capabilities to clients commissioning multi-million-pound capital programmes and projects. Delivering best practice procurement strategy, tender management, and tender evaluation services across the public and private sectors to deliver tangible value and sustainable outcomes. Provide input into project business cases, strategies, and delivery models to embed robust and pragmatic commercial and procurement practices. As required, provide commercial advice and support to clients to define, negotiate and award a range of standard and bespoke contracts. Support colleagues and the business with business development activities to continue to grow Procurement Advisory capabilities, including lead generation, bids and RFP’s. Meeting with clients to present findings on projects and on a business-development basis to discuss new opportunities and manage relationships with existing and new clients. Liaise with decision makers across a wide variety of clients, working at key players in the infrastructure space. From an industry perspective, the client works across Infrastructure, with a large presence in Transport, Rail, Highways, Energy, Utilities, Renewables, Construction and Engineering. The incoming candidate would likely get exposure across all. This role is hybrid with time in office, client site and home. The team is based in various offices across the UK with a large presence across the North Salary is also negotiable, based on experience and performance through the process.
