Altum is excited to partner with a rapidly growing boutique consultancy seeking a client-facing PMO Support. This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful execution of ERP implementation projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting with reporting and analysis, and supporting project managers and teams with various tasks. The PMO Support Resource will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure efficient project operations and adherence to PMO standards and methodologies. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their PMO career who is looking to gain experience in a variety of environments and the opportunity to grow into the project management space.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination and Documentation:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Maintain and organise project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, issue logs, and change requests.
- Provide administrative support for project management tools and systems.
- Assist with resource allocation and management to ensure optimal utilisation of project resources.
- Support the implementation and adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new project team members.
- Ensure new team members are familiar with PMO processes and tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance project support activities.
