I’m currently partnering with a leading global media business to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team within a well-known organisation operating at the forefront of the media industry. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, play a key role in financial reporting and business partnering, and contribute to continued success of a fast‑paced, creative business.
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting the month‑end close process.
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles.
- Partnering with budget holders to provide financial insight and challenge.
- Assisting with year‑end reporting and audit requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Supporting ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least 1–2 years PQE.
- Experienced in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
- Confident preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced in Excel, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite being advantageous.
