Altum Consulting is supporting a global organisation looking to enhance and evolve its legal operations and corporate services technology landscape. This role will focus on improving business processes, supporting critical operational platforms, and driving scalable technology solutions across a complex back-office environment.
The successful individual will operate as a specialist-level Business Analyst / Technical Analyst, partnering with both business and technology stakeholders to solve operational challenges, design future-state processes, and support delivery of high-impact technical solutions. The role requires someone comfortable working autonomously across a global stakeholder landscape.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with the Onit Matter Management platform, alongside a strong understanding of legal operations processes and workflows. Exposure to areas such as eDiscovery, Legal Holds, litigation preparation, investigatory processes, and broader legal function operations would be highly valuable.
This role would suit someone who is confident bridging business and technical teams, with strong process mapping, requirements gathering, workflow configuration, and systems analysis capability. Experience working with geographically distributed teams and third-party vendors is also important.
A broader understanding of supporting legal and enterprise tooling such as document management systems, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, collaboration tooling, and service management platforms would be beneficial.
What You'll Do- Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Investigations functions to gather and validate business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and platform configurations across Onit and related legal operations systems.
- Support the ongoing stability, optimisation, and enhancement of business-critical platforms.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes to support scalable operational improvements.
- Execute and support system configurations, enhancements, testing cycles, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain workflows, process documentation, and change records across project and collaboration tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on governance, operational efficiency, controls, and data integrity.
- Hands-on experience configuring or supporting the Onit Matter Management platform.
- Experience working within legal operations, matter management, or corporate services environments.
- Functional understanding of legal workflows, investigatory processes, and legal systems.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, process mapping, and documentation capability.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence within delivery environments.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operating across multiple workstreams.
- Exposure to legal document management systems such as NetDocuments or iManage would be advantageous.
- Prior experience working with globally distributed teams and third-party vendors preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
