We are recruiting on behalf of a growing, privately held business that is operating internationally. They are seeking a skilled Group Accountant. This role will be central to managing group consolidation and delivering financial clarity across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes and group consolidation
- Prepare consolidated financial statements (under IFRS and/or UK GAAP)
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support external audit processes and documentation
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting at group level
- Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, internal controls, and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience with multi-entity consolidation
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or UK GAAP)
- Advanced Excel skills plus comfort with financial reporting tools
- Sharp analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player
- Exposure to acquisition accounting or M&A integration
- Familiarity with financial or ERP systems
