We are proud to be partnering with a nationally recognised charity working to address one of the most pressing social justice challenges in the UK. We are seeking a Finance Analyst Manager to lead a team of five analysts and deliver expert financial insight across the organisation.
This role sits within the FP&A team, which provides high-quality financial insight, reporting and advice across the organisation. It reports into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, and there are c.30 people in the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing Financial Analysis team, taking a coaching‐led approach to line management.
- Produce high-quality, strategic financial analysis and insight for senior stakeholders.
- Support the management of budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Oversee the team's contribution to the monthly reporting cycle, working closely with Financial Control and Operations to continuously improve processes.
- Lead the development and optimisation of the organisation's financial planning and analysis system (Unit4), improving reporting quality and user experience.
- Ensure effective review of external funding bids and accurate reporting against restricted funds, supporting budget holders in financial management.
- Provide business partnering support to senior leaders as required, sharing financial results, risks and mitigations clearly and constructively.
- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB, CIMA or overseas equivalent).
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong experience producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident relationship-builder, able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise in a changing environment.
- High attention to detail, strong numeracy and intermediate Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with complex data and financial planning systems (experience with FP&A software desirable).
