Altum Consulting are recruiting for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join an international hospitality group for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. This role will support central group functions and help build best-in-class financial management capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape how group overheads are managed, influence senior decision-making, and evolve the finance function from traditional cost control to true commercial partnering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders across Group Functions
  • Build and embed best-in-class overhead management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Develop clear, insightful reporting and dashboards to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Move the finance conversation from cost tracking to value creation and commercial decision support
  • Challenge assumptions and support business cases for investment across central teams
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and financial planning through robust modelling and scenario analysis
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, optimisation, and better allocation of resources
  • Manage and analyse large data sets, turning complex information into clear, actionable insight
  • Support month-end close processes related to group overheads and central cost centres

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA) with significant experience in Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance within a complex, preferably international organisation
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with proven experience handling and interpreting large data sets
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to translate financial information into clear business insight
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
